This spring, the Lady Tigers Varsity Volleyball Team completed their season during a global pandemic. We were very happy that our Lady Tigers were able to play 8 games this year! Similar to boys’ basketball, unfortunately spectators weren’t allowed within the gym and it was mandatory to wear masks. But, LWA’s Facebook Page live streamed all home games so fans could still cheer on our volleyball team! Coach Howard Mo and the Lady Tigers fought with resilience in every game, coming up just shy of the playoffs. A dozen Lady Tigers spanned grades 7 through 12. The future looks bright for Girls’ Volleyball at LWA as 5 of the players were 9th grade or below. The Tigers will be more experienced with a deep bench for the next season! 7th grader Addison Cooper became one of the youngest players in LWA history to play a Varsity sport!
Seniors Diana Dosso, Kyra Milord and Junior, Adaora Madubuko were named to the Private Schools Athletic Association All-Conference team! Diana, Kyra, and Isabel Manne were all recognized for their parts as seniors at their final game on Senior Day. LWA wishes them the best in college!
